Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Procurement Agents (Associate and Mid-Level) (Levels 2 and 3) to join our Fasteners team in Everett, Washington. The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. We are looking for qualified candidates with a supply chain background who are ready to manage suppliers throughout the world. As an Operations Procurement Agent, you will manage complex work packages in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class products in support of our airline customers and the flying public. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.
Job Responsibility:
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
Requirements:
1+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
1+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Ability to travel up to 15% domestically or internationally
Nice to have:
3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience with Project Management
1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
1+ years of experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions
Bachelor's Degree or higher
