We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Advisor - Procurement to become a vital part of our onsite Procurement Team at our Produce Packaging Facility in Normanton. If you are passionate and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure 100% bill of materials accuracy
  • Manage MRP system to maintain stock levels
  • Liaise daily with suppliers to validate loading and report discrepancies
  • Regularly communicate with suppliers to address raw material availability and escalate issues
  • Send orders to suppliers on time, aligned with category requirements
  • Coordinate with Demand Planning and Produce Supply Teams on sales forecasts
  • Ensure site lorry boards are accurate and planned
  • Manage depot splits and liaise with external packers
  • Work with site planners on stock rotation and resolve issues
  • Oversee direct deliveries with European Logistics Team for cost-effective routes
  • Perform administrative tasks to keep system information accurate
  • Review supplier metrics and escalate issues
  • Communicate inbound concerns and suggest solutions
  • Support buying with programme creation, data analysis, and supplier reviews
  • Ensure on-time, in-full deliveries of raw materials, finished goods, and returnable assets

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • Previous experience in planning within a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
