Position Summary In addition to its 300 days of annual sunshine, breathtaking scenery, and reputation for some of the country's best brews, Denver ranks among the top 10 in Forbes’ 'Best cities for dogs 2024' list. We are honored to have a strong presence in this mile-high city, as we have been operating here since 1930. Initially focused on producing livestock feed, the plant transitioned into a pet food-only manufacturer in 1972. Notably, our Denver location became the first-ever pet food factory to harness the power of solar energy. We currently produce 260,134 tons annually of Dog Chow®, Cat Chow®, Kit n Kaboodle®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE Beyond®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, and Pro Plan®. But, we leave it up to you to shape our future and your career aspirations.Our Production Operators are the feeder group for all production-based operator positions within various production departments, which include Unloading, Dry Pet Processing, and Dry Pet Packing. Team members go through a training period and afterwards will be moved to one of several critical factory positions to operate, including Extruder Operator, Utility, Packing Operator, etc. In this position, you will enjoy competitive weekly pay starting at $29.53 an hour during the new hire probation period and increasing to $35.65 an hour when the probationary period has been successfully completed.
