Job Responsibility

  • Continuous process technological optimization, development and planning of processes and plants in close collaboration with production
  • Execution of smaller investment & optimization projects in Evonik`s existing production plants in Singapore
  • Contribution in the optimization of existing production processes as part of continuous process development
  • Leading of process development projects with interdisciplinary teams
  • Development of innovative process technological concepts and methods for the production of specialty chemicals
  • Responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of experiments in the laboratory, pilot plant or production environment

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor or above degree in the field of process technology, chemical engineering or similar natural sciences
  • Ideally over 5 years of experience in the petrochemical/specialty chemical industries
  • Working experience on Jurong Island is a plus
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Committed and loyal team member, which represents high self-motivation, flexibility and creativity
  • Interest in being part of a global expert group
  • Willingness for international business travel
