1-2 years demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment in at least one of the following disciplines: Technical
Production
Development
or graduate in related discipline
Project Coordination
understands the critical path and delivers within agreed timeframe
Has good organisational skills and is able to manage own time and workload with the ability to multi-task
Is aware of the business issues

Job Responsibility

Undertake trials in-line with the Greencore and Customer requirements and as instructed by Line Manager
Document all data from trials inc. shelf-life, organs etc, comprehensively and legibly for future review in order to establish process capabilities and support due diligence
Secure and submit appropriate samples as requested by Customer as well as those for analysis e.g. Microbiological, for organoleptic evaluation and for transit trials
Plan and organise resources to achieve the day to day delivery of trials etc, in-line with Project timescales
Working with NPD and Operations establish appropriate quality attributes for work in progress material, assembly and finished product taking into account operational capabilities
Carry out ongoing Process validation of relevant factory equipment to ensure site due diligence requirements are met
Co-ordinate Pre-Production and Launch preparation
Contribute to post launch evaluation of process in conjunction with NPD to ensure process established at launch is still valid for full scale production and implement improvements as necessary
To operate in a safe working manner and support the site/business on continuous improvement relating to heath, safety and the environmen

Job Responsibility

Deliver manufacturing trials in line with critical paths, using structured problem-solving to identify, capture and resolve issues across functions
Prepare and complete transit tests, review microbiological and nutritional results, and ensure alignment with customer codes and project objectives
Facilitate post-trial evaluations, coordinating samples, reviewing organoleptic assessments and producing QAS reports with clear action plans
Conduct food safety validations in line with site CCPs and HACCP principles, ensuring compliance with retailer procedures
Manage raw materials and packaging approval status, controlling costs and proactively resolving issues to protect the critical path
Plan and support customer panels, build effective stakeholder relationships and implement improvements based on feedback
Monitor factory processes, collect and analyse data, identify issues in standard production and support cost reduction opportunities
Complete controlled trial, pre-production and launch documentation accurately and on time
Operate safely at all times, complying with legislation, reporting hazards promptly and supporting continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance
