Job Description

As a Process Technician at Lam, you are a vital part of the team, actively supporting process development, product development, and research and development (R&D). You will set up processing equipment, conduct technical tests and experiments, run process trials, and present findings to optimize yield. Your technical expertise supports process development and contributes to Lam’s commitment to innovation.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Process Engineers in preparing wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) tests, including equipment setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions
  • Operate processing equipment and advanced tools using recipes defined by engineering teams to collect experimental results, capture measurements (e.g., thin film thickness, CD, wafer disposition performance), and perform chemistry property analysis
  • Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering teams to identify yield optimization opportunities
  • Provide technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers
  • Assist with technical troubleshooting and identify improvement opportunities for application lab tools and experimental setups

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock
  • Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English
  • Ability to work a shift schedule
