Job Responsibility:

  • Install refractory materials in the EAF, steel ladles, tundishes, and RH
  • Conduct inspections and perform repairs as needed (e.g., bricklaying, gunning)
  • Troubleshoot issues related to refractory installations
  • Verify, document, and record operational data
  • Actively contribute to a safe work environment by participating in the development and maintenance of process control and safety routines
  • Lead by example in prioritizing safety and support less experienced colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient workplace
  • Make decisions and proactively identify solutions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in bricklaying, casting, or tiling is an advantage
  • Experience developing work methods or participating in development projects is beneficial
  • Additional certificates (e.g., forklift, crane operator license) are a plus
  • Good knowledge of English
  • basic Swedish is an advantage
  • Driver’s license (B)
  • Willingness to learn and how you collaborate with colleagues and leadership
