Proven experience leading or contributing to process improvement and re-engineering efforts within accounting, finance, or other controlled business environments
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
Strong understanding of record-to-report processes such as journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activities, accrual accounting, and close management
Ability to create process maps and translate business challenges into scalable automation or reporting solutions
Experience working with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Lists, Teams, and advanced Excel features such as Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex formulas
Familiarity with governance, documentation, and deployment practices for enterprise automation solutions, ideally within regulated organizations
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a distributed team environment

Job Responsibility

Analyze existing accounting and operational workflows to uncover manual tasks, control gaps, and opportunities for automation across record-to-report activities
Design, build, and enhance solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, and AI Builder
Work closely with finance leaders and process owners to gather business requirements and convert them into effective technical designs and usable applications
Develop dashboards, reports, and data models that improve visibility into financial processes, performance metrics, and data quality outcomes
Create and maintain supporting documentation such as solution designs, user instructions, process maps, and operational runbooks for deployed tools
Support integrations involving Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint Online, Teams, Microsoft Lists, and advanced Excel capabilities to improve process efficiency
Help ensure automation solutions align with audit expectations, internal control standards, segregation of duties, and validation requirements in a regulated environment
Contribute to iterative delivery efforts by moving initiatives from early problem definition through testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization with minimal supervision
