Job Description:

The Shared Controls Group (SCG) exists to support the Markets business globally through the efficient execution of controls / processes that are common across region, product, and risk category. Specifically, within this role you will be responsible for the identification and implementation of automation-based projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist our global business partners in the identification of automation opportunities
  • Leverage Business Intelligence (BI) and automation-based skills in the deployment of tactical and strategic solutions
  • Collaborate with technology partners in the requirements gathering and deployment of systemic automation projects
  • Promote education and adoption of automation tools across the Shared Controls Group (SCG)
  • Application of advanced data analytics through Business Intelligence tools to extract insight and trends across businesses, products and regions

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL Queries
  • Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous: VBA, R, Python
  • Strong verbal/written communication, including the ability to confidently present to other Citi staff
  • Demonstratable skills in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Knowledge and experience of the market trading function is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous: VBA, R, Python
  • Knowledge and experience of the market trading function is advantageous
