We are looking for a motivated and talented individual currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or other relevant field, to join our Manufacturing Science Team as a co-op or intern for an 8 month term starting in May 2026. Working within the Clinical Manufacturing team, you will contribute to the initial manufacturing activities at AbCellera’s new GMP clinical monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting in data collection, analysis, and trending for manufacturing batches (e.g., bioreactor, chromatography, and filtration steps)
Supporting execution and documentation of process characterization, scale-up, or troubleshooting studies
Participating in deviation investigations and supporting root cause analysis
Maintaining and organizing process monitoring databases and dashboards
Collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, and Process Development teams to transfer knowledge and support batch readiness activities
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., process robustness, yield improvement, or documentation efficiency)
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biotech, Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including MS Excel and MS Visio
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of cross-functional team
Excellent documentation and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail
Able to learn new technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Enthusiastic about applying your expertise to biopharmaceutical manufacturing
Nice to have:
Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment
