The selected candidate will lead the Process Engineering team dedicated to Biomethane plants, playing a key role in both technical and managerial coordination. He/She will be responsible for ensuring engineering excellence across projects, supporting both proposal development and project execution, and acting as a technical and disciplinary reference for the team.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary Process Engineering team, providing technical leadership, disciplinary guidance, and fostering effective communication and teamwork
Ensure projects are executed in line with timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while remaining actively involved in key engineering activities
Review and validate process technical documentation (H&MB, PFD, P&IDs, control logics), ensuring compliance with project requirements, internal standards, and applicable regulations
Plan and manage team workload, allocating resources effectively according to project priorities
Act as Technical Authority for Anaerobic Digestion processes, supporting both tendering and project execution phases
Contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of internal guidelines, technical specifications, and procedures
Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Process Engineers in coordination with the local Process Engineering Manager
Define individual development plans for team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and ongoing technical support
Interface with internal and external stakeholders (clients, technology partners, suppliers, and engineering contractors) to validate process solutions and resolve technical issues
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
10+ years of experience in Anaerobic Digestion for biogas/biomethane production
At least 3 years of experience in a Process Engineering Group Leader role or in a comparable technical leadership position
Proven ability to lead teams and successfully deliver complex projects
Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to independently evaluate operational solutions and act decisively within defined authority limits
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills in international and multidisciplinary environments
