The Process Engineering Intern (Compounding) position is meant to provide a rising Junior or rising Senior Engineering student an opportunity to gain exposure and experience within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be able to work as an integrated member of the Compounding Operations Department leadership team, focused on high-visibility and high-impact projects to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Department.
Job Responsibility:
Train with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the end-to-end manufacturing process, with focus on the Compounding side of the operation
Solve problems in the mass manufacturing process to improve efficiency, compliance, safety and other critical metrics
Learn about the critical basics of working in the manufacturing industry (Safety protocols, Quality standards, Performance metrics and more)
Collaborate with manager and extended team to form an action plan for the deliverables through the work term
Present progress at the end of the assignment to key stakeholders
Requirements:
Rising Junior or rising Senior Engineering student
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel especially)
