Job Description

Airswift has been tasked by a major client looking for a Senior Process Safety and Risk Advisor to work in Sabine Pass, TX for 1-year with possibility of extension and benefits offered. A dynamic communicator with deep process safety / risk assessment technical knowledge. This position is not to lead OSHA PSM program development or implementation.

Job Responsibility

  • Champion and lead of process safety excellence across our operations, embedding a strong safety culture through targeted training, field engagement, structured risk assessments and analysis, and leadership coaching
  • facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, process safety studies, development and delivery of training, and other risk & process safety duties as required

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Process Safety Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledgeable in Petrochem industry & Regulatory requirements
  • Must have lead / facilitated risk assessments using HAZOP, scenario based risk assessments, bow-tie analysis, or other methodologies

Nice to have

Preferred competency in consequence modelling tools (e.g. Phast)
