As a Manufacturing Process Engineer on our team, you’ll Development and design of plastic injection processes through design of experiments and/or statistical methods, development of maintenance plans (preventive, corrective and predictive), provision of technical training, analysis and problem solving, technology improvement, continuous improvement in the work area, preparation of equipment manuals, process certification, definition of methods for equipment calibration, control and improvement of capability studies for critical process characteristics, definition of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic installation plans, development of try-outs.
Job Responsibility:
Release of part numbers according to scheduled dates
Release of manufacturing equipment and/or machinery to production
Coordination of injection molding process issues
Support in analyzing and resolving FTQ and process capability problems
Support in analyzing and resolving customer complaints
Support in the startup of new equipment and systems
Support for compliance with the quality system
Support for accident prevention
Support for improvements to current manufacturing processes
Authority to halt the release of a process that poses a risk to quality or safety
Authority to halt a production process that poses a risk to quality or safety
Has the authority to halt the process when a risk to the safety of people, machinery, equipment, and/or the environment is detected
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Proficient English level
3 to 5 years of experience in plastic injection
Experience in automotive industry is preferred
Line balancing
Machinery implementation and startup
Experience with auxiliary equipment such as temperature controllers, dryers, and robots
