Our client manufactures rubber mouldings for industrial, commercial and military applications. Due to expansion, they are looking to grow the team, offering a brilliant opportunity for a process engineer to support the development of new production parts within rubber moulding.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and document manufacturing processes for rubber moulding and associated assembly operations
Support new product introduction by defining process parameters, workflows, and collaborating on tooling and feasibility
Apply technical expertise across moulding methods, material testing, bonding processes, and tooling development
Provide production support by troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth process handovers
Manage projects and quality requirements, ensuring products meet safety, performance, and customer standards
Requirements:
Knowledge of injection, compression, or transfer moulding (experience across multiple methods preferred)
Hands-on, practical mindset with willingness to learn and operate manufacturing equipment
Ability to assess and interpret quality characteristics of rubber components
Experience in fast-paced production environments, ideally with a background in plastics or moulding
Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
