Process Engineer

• Conduct on-site evaluations of conveying equipment, transfer areas, structural components, foundations, roofs, roadways, and other plant assets to identify deficiencies and operating risks
• Analyze equipment or infrastructure failures, determine underlying causes, and lead practical corrective measures that improve dependability and efficiency
• Prepare scopes, engineering recommendations, and technical support for repairs, modifications, and improvement projects involving material handling and facility infrastructure
• Examine drawings, specifications, and third-party engineering packages to confirm technical accuracy, compliance, and suitability for field execution
• Coordinate with contractors, maintenance teams, and plant stakeholders to advance projects, monitor progress, and support startup and commissioning activities
• Help establish preventive and reliability-focused maintenance plans that reduce recurring issues and extend asset life
• Keep engineering files, asset records, manuals, and maintenance system information current and organized for ongoing plant use
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, environmental personnel, and outside partners to meet site objectives and support regulatory obligations, including environmentally related activities where applicable

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, power generation, mining, or bulk material handling setting
• Practical understanding of conveyors, support structures, and industrial facility systems
• Demonstrated ability to investigate technical problems and apply root cause analysis to resolve them effectively
• Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a plant environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and contractors
• Ability to perform field-based work regularly within an active industrial operation

Experience with reliability planning, maintenance systems, environmental compliance, or progress toward licensure
