We're looking for a Process Engineer to join our Machining (Gears) team within the Manufacturing Engineering function. You'll play a key role in developing, improving and optimising machining processes in a high-performance automotive environment transitioning into electric vehicle production.
Job Responsibility:
Own and continuously improve critical manufacturing processes
Lead capital and efficiency improvement projects
Deliver solutions safely, on time and within cost
Collaborate with production, maintenance, management and external partners
Drive innovation across conventional and advanced gear machining processes
Act as a role model for Ford+ behaviours
Champion safety and drive a zero-incident culture
Serve as process owner across designated production areas
Lead capital project implementation
Deliver cost and efficiency improvements
Ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards (IATF/ISO)
Drive reliability & maintainability from concept to installation
Manage contractors safely and effectively
Work collaboratively with engineering teams and Trade Union representatives
Support continuous improvement across the business
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
Proven experience in manufacturing/process engineering
Project and change management experience
Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma)
Lean manufacturing techniques
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of SPC
Data analysis / data science capability
Ergonomics & manual handling awareness
