Job Description:

Process Engineer will be the technical lead in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for advanced cable assemblies. You will bridge the gap between product development and full-scale production, ensuring all processes are data-driven, scalable, and high-yielding.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) to identify key variables and establish standard manufacturing parameters and process windows
  • Utilize Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies and statistical process capability studies to drive root-cause analysis and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Lead alpha and beta product builds, developing the criteria for raw cable designs to transition smoothly into high-volume production
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for automated and manual equipment
  • provide technical guidance to cross-functional engineering and operations teams
  • Drive FMEA/PFMEA sessions and research innovative manufacturing methods to stay ahead of industry trends
  • Create and maintain standard work instructions, equipment programming, and comprehensive incident reports using the 5M approach (Manpower, Method, Machine, Material, Measurement)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Process Engineering, specifically within cable assembly, connectors, or interconnect solutions
  • Strong background in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred) and DOE
  • Proficiency in data mining and engineering calculations (Physics/Math)
  • High-level communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Project Management training and experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
