As a Process Engineer at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in our Injection Molding and Devices operations. Job Responsibility
Build and modify precision assembly and/or manufacturing equipment
Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
Prepare accurate estimates for various tasks and projects
Coordinate capital projects, directly and through coordinating engineers
Drive continuous improvement activities across the department
Collaborate with plant and corporate groups, contractors, and vendors
Coordinate the initiation, troubleshooting, and commissioning phases for new manufacturing processes
Manage equipment life cycle processes such as upgrades, replacement, and decommissioning
Perform product life cycle management tasks, including build changes, material changes, Supplier Notice of Change (SNC) assessments, and specification changes
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to all plant departments
Demonstrate proactive communication and problem-solving skills
Support and achieve Value Improvement Projects (VIPs)
Adhere to FDA Design Control standards and maintain all department operational guidelines
Generate technical documents, reports, equipment specifications, and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Computer Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
A minimum of 2 years in Engineering or Manufacturing is required
experience in FDA manufacturing is helpful
Preferred experience with automation controls, automated assembly, control systems, PLCs, HMIs, servos, and vision inspection systems
Proficiency in software used to build models (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is preferred
Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification or industry-standard equivalent is preferred
Experience in plastic injection molding is advantageous
Project Management skills and experience, including familiarity with Microsoft Project, are a plus
Experience and skills in Lean Manufacturing are helpful
