In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics.
Job Responsibility:
Independently manage assigned cleaning processes (wet or blasting cleaning)
Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods (e.g., SPC) to drive continuous improvement in yield, cost, and cycle time
Execute simple optimizations independently and support more complex process changes
Ensure process availability and define maintenance plans for cleaning processes
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (AAWs, REZs, work instructions) and train production teams
Adapt existing cleaning processes, introduce new cleaning technologies, contribute to NPI, PCCSIMs, and ramp-up projects
Participate in FMEAs and ECRs, support equipment selection and procurement, collaborate across production, engineering, D&E, and R&T
Requirements:
Degree in a technical or natural science field
Relevant professional experience in a production and technical environment
Experience with semi- to fully automated cleaning systems for wet and blasting cleaning processes
Experience in technical data management (interfaces with IT and MES, OPC UA, internal databases, SPC, qs-stat, Power BI)
Experience in technical drawing and tooling (drawing maintenance, tool design coordination, spare parts procurement, tool maintenance)
Applied Six Sigma, SPC, PDCA, continuous improvement (CIP/KVP)
Experience in creating manufacturing documentation and decision templates
