Job Description:

The Finance Development & Operations team leads the integrated design of the finance operating model to secure fit for purpose, standardised and automated ways of working and organizing within finance and GBO. This role supports the retail business while securing compliance through process and capability development related to finance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead process design and collaborate with relevant functions
  • assess and analyze process improvement potentials and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • implement process ways of working and secure efficiencies and effectiveness
  • document processes according to defined frameworks
  • set up performance measurement for specific processes and monitor performance
  • lead initiatives and contribute to other internal projects
  • secure connections between core areas, business owners, group functions, and process teams
  • ensure cross-organizational readiness for business growth
  • monitor and follow up on Global Business Operations performance and SLA’s
  • maintain consistency and interdependencies in process development
  • ensure a safe working environment for co-workers and external consultants

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Economics or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience with increased responsibility in accounting or finance related field
  • strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multitask
  • ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English
  • proven skills in developing people and providing support, coaching, training, and career direction
  • understanding of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity and Culture & Values
  • understanding of the IKEA business, its market and industry
  • understanding of business, financial and operational processes, their inter-dependencies and how to work through them
  • general understanding of risk assessment, analysis and mitigation
  • good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their applications in business context
  • good understanding of creating and implementing change initiatives and managing stakeholders
  • good understanding of project management processes including methods and tools
  • good understanding of customer needs, demands and expectations on the markets

Nice to have:

Experience with implementing an SAP/S4Hana solution
