Job Responsibility:

  • Drive machining excellence by developing, documenting, and improving CNC processes, tooling, fixtures, and programs (Esprit CAM)
  • Support new product launches through process validation, verification, and creation of complete fabrication data packages
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, support MRB activities, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Lead programming efforts and contribute to Lean initiatives, including SMED and Poka-Yoke
  • Collaborate across shifts to resolve technical and workflow challenges
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA QSR)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of machining/manufacturing experience
  • Strong CNC machining background, including setup, tooling, and cycle optimization
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Experience with GD&T (ASME/ISO), SPC, and fixture/tooling design
  • Familiarity with Swiss-turn and 5-axis mill/turn equipment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work overtime as needed
  • Valid driver's license for frequent company travel
