other engineering degrees, related military experience, or five (5) years of practical experience in Process Control Systems will be considered

Provide support for the Distributed Control System (DCS) software/hardware as well as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) across the Mill
Work with Maintenance, Operations, and technical personnel to optimize existing control systems as well as to plan and design new applications
Become fully integrated into the Mill, working directly with operations and management with an assigned mentor to maximize growth and development
Responsible for optimization of existing mill control systems
Responsible for plan, design, and implementation of control systems / new applications
Guide Operational and Electrical Maintenance work teams during technical troubleshooting of Mill’s process control systems
Work effectively with every level of the organization
Be a safety advocate, lead by example
Drive team efforts to identify root cause of issues, identify permanent corrective actions, document in mill-wide database, and provide follow-up
