The Process Control Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, safely operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance in the mixing area. S/he will be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications, safely operates mixers in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
Job Responsibility:
Follow all safety and quality policies and procedures according to the existing guidelines.
Wear / Use prescribed PPEs
Follow standards on personal hygiene
Use LOTO during troubleshooting and CILT
Ensure that machine guarding is in place before and during production
Use proper tools and equipment during troubleshooting and maintenance activities
Follow prescribed work procedures and company safety rules and regulations
Knowledge and application of technical skills to operate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan.
Assesses his/her assigned equipment/s(mixers, storage tanks, material tanks, utilities, etc.) to ensure that it is within standard condition for both functionality, cleanliness, and safety.
Proactively assess the bulk inventory and batch kits / material availability and flag to the First Line Manager / Process Engineer if any changes in the plan is needed.
Ensure execution of the production based on the daily plan in accordance with the operational guidelines and procedures.
Coordinates call-off of RM Batch Kit from the Dispensary Area.
Ensures readiness of material tanks for the next batch and isotainer trucks.
Checks the quality and quantity of ingredients during dosing and conducts on-line quality analysis based on the QCP (Quality Control Points) and makes necessary adjustments such that the bulk quality passes per SOP.
Validates and reports the actual production in accordance with the production system and guidelines of the SAP.
Validates bulk issued to Bulker or Bulk Dispensary Man.
Ensure operation of the process mixers and conducts the cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening/re-adjustments of the equipment under his/her responsibility.
Conducts Autonomous Maintenance activities and minor repairs of equipment/s under his responsibility
Ensures on-time, real time OPE loss and waste reporting within his shift and generates improvement ideas and Kaizens to eliminate losses.
Fill up trackers (process sheet, dispensary sheet, machine checklists, recipe pop-ups, etc.) as required by QA for traceability.
Responsible for real-time line loss measurement (minor stops, changeovers, equipment breakdown, and waste)
Ensure proper handover to the incoming Process Control Operator between shifts.
Performs other activities as maybe required by his First Line Manager.
Compliance to company COBP, CR&R
Compliance to the GMP and GHK rules of the plant
Participates in Focused Improvement activities
Executes agreed Focused Improvement actions
Raises improvement activities (OFI) and OPL
Validates results and effectiveness of Focused Improvement activities via real time observations
Perform routine activities such as operation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of Mixers and ensure that machines are available for production.
Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance task, including CILT, based on the calendar given by the maintenance planner.
Participates in the EWO (emergency work order) filling up and execution of actions that relates to prevent any similar breakdown.
Able to operate simple gadgets such as smart phone and iPad
Learn and adapt to digital tools as required by the Company
Participates in trainings and other ad hoc activities as required by the Company
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering or any technical course relevant to stated functions
Knowledge in hydraulic, electrical, or electronic process instrumentation and control systems
Knows how to analyze the system and made recommendation for improvement.
Knowledge of Basic R2S/UMS Principles such as UMS Pillars, OEE Computation, Loss Measurements, Problem Solving Techniques, Statistical Process Control and Cost Variance Analysis
Basic knowledge in thermodynamics, heat exchanger, and pressure vessel operation
Basic analytical skills for physico-chemical properties
Basic knowledge of raw material quality and specifications
Knowledge of the 5S principles and the ability to consistently practice them
Skills and knowledge in proper lubrication for machines and other autonomous maintenance activities
Knowledge in mechanical systems such as fasteners and mechanical drives
Strong attention to detail regarding documentation
Basic knowledge of OSHAS, EMS, GMP and HACCP
Ability to prepare accurate technical reports, purchase requisitions, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Must possess basic PC skills, MS Excel skills, good communication skills, comfortable working in an open team environment, have the ability to plan, organize and execute work with a minimum of supervision and have a strong awareness of safety issues
