Our partner is a stable, German-backed international manufacturing group who is a leading global player in the elevator and escalator industry, looking for a dynamic Process Automation Specialist to join their newly established, rapidly growing European Solution Center . Operating within the European Solution Center, you will support the entire end-to-end finance scope (including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Master Data Management) . The main goal of this position is to enhance operational efficiency by designing, developing, and deploying smart, modern automation solutions while communicating efficiency gains directly to key business stakeholders .
Job Responsibility
Evaluate, analyze, and map existing business processes and operational pain points to uncover and document potential workflows ripe for automation
Create comprehensive business cases for proposed automations, calculating project scope, workload estimations, potential risks, and expected return on investment (ROI)
Build and deliver tailored automation tools (such as VBA macros, Power Query models, low-code tools, workflows, and Robotic Process Automation/RPA) according to company governance and standards
Execute meticulous unit testing and end-to-end trials to guarantee the stability and accuracy of the solutions before coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with scenarios and user documentation
Manage the seamless deployment and operational transition of finalized automation tools into live production, ensuring structured handovers and monitoring stabilization
Provide post-production enhancement and technical support, handling incidents or system changes while actively refining existing automation frameworks and documentation
Requirements
3–5 years of solid experience in process automation, process improvement projects, or closely related roles
College or university degree, ideally specializing in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Robust, hands-on knowledge of automation tools (such as VBA, Power Query, Power Automate, RPA, or AI integrations)
Familiarity with data analytics/visualization software (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau) or SAP/ERP systems is a major advantage
Advanced, fluent English language skills are required
Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with a collaborative, proactive mindset
Nice to have
Knowledge of any additional European language is a plus
Familiarity with data analytics/visualization software (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Tableau) or SAP/ERP systems is a major advantage
