Job Description:
Process Attendants are required to perform checks and inspections of equipment, regular clean-up duties, obtain required quality control samples, and assist with troubleshooting process related problems. The checks, inspections, and clean-up duties are done according to a checklist for each respective area. A checklist is completed and signed for each shift. Process Attendants are required to perform an Area Inspection for the part of the plant they are working in and turn in the signed and completed area inspection upon completion of their shift. Process Attendants must be able to work in elevated heights, walk, climb stairs and ladders, shovel, sweep, and communicate with other employees via radios. Process Attendants may also be required to operate equipment and tools on an as needed basis including but not limited to: electric and pneumatic jackhammers, impacts and hand tools, using poke bars and scrapers, air lances, fork lifts, bobcats/skid steers. Additional general tasks for Process Attendants include but are not limited to inspecting belt lines, rollers, water and oil flows and levels, bearings, motors, drive belts and chains, hoppers and chutes, ducts, mechanical linkages, inspecting fire extinguishers and safety equipment, etc.
