Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Process Analyst III to join their Governance & Control team. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Job Responsibility:

Execute process, risk, and control self-assessments and recommend automation or enhancement opportunities
Conduct testing of key controls within established deadlines, applying testing methodology
Ensure that exceptions are properly analyzed, reported, and tracked to resolution
Support businesses in developing action/remediation plans to address internal control gaps and root causes
Assist in the assessment of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency in control testing
Participate in ad-hoc initiatives and risk/control strategies
Foster a collaborative work environment through effective communication and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in risk, audit, or compliance
Quality control testing experience (2 years)
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and new situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Experience with Alteryx
Banking industry experience
Background in surveillance, front-office trading, or middle-office P&L
Professional accounting/auditing/risk management designation is an asset
