Job Description:

Proceedings is an open access journal dedicated to publishing findings resulting from conferences, workshops, and similar events. The conference organizers and proceedings editors are responsible for managing the peer-review process and selecting papers for conference proceedings. We are looking for recent graduates who are eager to stay connected to scientific research.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the editorial process for conference proceedings journals, engage in communication with scholars and experts to organize the peer review process, and ensuring that the accepted manuscripts fit our layout guidelines and can be published in a timely manner
  • Handle email communication between the parties involved in the publication process
  • Identify potential academic conferences within the scope of the journal’s discipline, reach out to conference organizers or scientific committees, and establish collaborative relationships
  • Industry Trend Awareness: Stay informed about developments in the field of conference proceedings journals and assist the managing editor in achieving the journal's strategic goals
  • Complete other assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree within the past five years
  • Major in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, computer science, materials science, agriculture, medicine and pharmacy, environmental sciences or related majors
  • TOEIC score 600+, IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL iBT 60+
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Strong learning and communication ability
