Job Responsibility

  • Maintain current knowledge of IR, Neuro IR, and Cardiac trends and best practices, including radiation safety standards, to enhance clinical competence
  • Provide leadership by establishing priorities, coordinating patient flow, and guiding nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide quality nursing care to the patients in the Radiology Procedural Area
  • Clinical Procedural Nurse 3, is an experienced Registered Nurse, who, independently is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients
  • Involved with service line metrics, action plans, and growth
  • Mostly direct patient facing with periodic non-patient facing responsibilities such as making of nursing/tech assignments, giving day-required directions, ensures the nursing/tech process by other team members is aligned, and works with the Tech Lead to manage resources

Requirements

  • 5 years of recent acute care Nursing experience
  • Experience with sterile technique and circulating in a procedural setting
  • Experience with moderate sedation administration and monitoring, strongly preferred
  • Critical Care (ICU, ED, CCU) or procedural area care (IR, Neuro IR, Cath Lab, EP Lab)
  • Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire

Nice to have

Experience with moderate sedation administration and monitoring
