Job Responsibility:

  • Instruct, coach and certify Brose Employees in PMP, E-FAST, and APPS Principles with the correct use and application of all project tools for your assigned region
  • Maintain a project list showing the status of all open initiatives
  • Ability to lead project status meetings for Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Candidates across our manufacturing and corporate locations
  • Drive PMP Sustainability within the NA/S business division key users ensure they execute their roles and responsibilities as defined by the Problem-Solving Competency Model
  • Approve/certify each functional key user within the business division
  • Ensure business division employees required to be a certified problem solver are completing project work using the appropriate reporting format
  • Maintain a 5/3/1 Pareto focus to ensure improvement opportunities are identified to address the highest financial impact/technically difficult projects
  • Champion the completion of all systemic lessons learned and read across to prevent problem recurrence
  • Provide plant and corporate support on customer calls regarding quality, engineering, validation, and warranty issues to ensure problem-solving confidence is communicated effectively
  • Support manufacturing plants and customers to resolve/prevent quality concerns for Brose Seat Division Products
  • Evaluate and determine root cause and corrective actions for warranty returns, customer complaints, and supplier non-conformances

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree
  • English fluent
  • Minimum 5 years automotive/engineering/quality experience
  • Must be willing to travel at least 10%
  • APPS (Shainin) Master Certification or equivalent desired
