Are you an experienced probate paralegal looking to join a dynamic, collaborative legal team? Our office is seeking a talented and detail-oriented probate paralegal with at least 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. This is a full-time, in-person role offering exciting casework in a growth-focused environment. Job Responsibility:
Draft and file probate petitions, estate administration documents, and related court forms
Assist attorneys with trust administration, guardianships, and estate planning
Manage probate calendars, deadlines, and case files
Conduct research on probate codes, rules, and property transfers
Communicate with beneficiaries, executors, and clients regarding estate matters
Review, organize, and summarize financial documentation and asset inventories
Prepare accountings, inventories, and reports for court submission
Coordinate filings and correspondence with local courts and government agencies
Monitor case status, update systems, and maintain confidential records
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years probate paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department
In-depth knowledge of probate procedures and court requirements
Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
Professional communication and client service abilities
Proficiency with legal management and document systems (e.g., Clio, NetDocuments, or similar)
Paralegal certificate or equivalent education preferred
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
