Bachelor's degree required
1–3 years of experience in legal services, paralegal work, or program coordination or related field strongly preferred
Demonstrated interest in immigration law, family law, or public interest law
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manager competing priorities with consistency
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
Experience or familiarity with legal document preparation and case management systems preferred

Job Responsibility

Conduct client intakes using trauma-informed and culturally competent practices
Provide paralegal support, including legal document preparation and case support under attorney supervision
Maintain and oversee case management systems, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and outcomes
Support grant reporting, data tracking, and program operations with a high level of accuracy and consistency
Collaborate with the Managing Attorney on program implementation, coordination and continuous improvement
Draft and assist with petitions, motions, affidavits, declarations, and immigration applications
Assist attorneys with case preparation, document review, and evidence organization
Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files in compliance with legal, ethical and organizational standards
Track case progress and update case management databases regularly
Communicate with clients, courts, and external partners as appropriate under attorney supervision
