Job Description

At the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler we have a dedicated team for guest as they arrive to the hotel. As a Full time Guest Service Attendant you’ll assist guest within the Private Residences upon arrival by opening car doors and welcoming them to the hotel, handle luggage and baggage and contributing to the operations of valet. The role is suitable to someone who has a dedication to serve our guests. You’ll work independently and as a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences within arrival team.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet guests arriving by private car, taxi, or limo by opening car doors and welcoming them to the hotel
  • Assist guests in descending from their vehicles and help unload their luggage
  • Redirect guest luggage to the respective guest rooms
  • Assist in valet parking cars and occasionally drive the house car around Whistler
  • Provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the town and its attractions
  • Load luggage into cars for departing guests
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Accommodate special requests whenever possible
  • Resolve customer complaints and assist with inquiries about hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, and more

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying 20+ pounds
  • Class 5 BC Driver’s license REQUIRED
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid work authorization for Canada

Nice to have

Previous experience in a hotel or guest service role preferred
