Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Private Network Pre-Sales Engineer to manage customer RFxs, deliver technical pre-sales presentations, and guide product development teams while building trusted customer relationships in a hybrid work setup.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage customer RFxs to build a competitive technical and commercial solution in close cooperation with Sales
  • Deliver technical pre-sales customer presentations and showcase the product capabilities both remotely and at customer premises
  • Capture market dynamics, follow competition offer and interface with product management, balancing and prioritizing customer requirements to guide product development teams
  • Successfully transfer knowledge to external partners to deliver effective solutions to customers
  • Proactively share knowledge with peers and help develop more junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, computer science, engineering or related field of study
  • MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred
  • 10+ years of work experience in Telecommunications and/or Enterprise networking
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales roles: building customer confidence, addressing technical concerns, and winning sales opportunities
  • Experience in 4G and 5G Core and RAN technologies
  • Experience in Private 4G/5G and/or enterprise networking is a plus
  • Ability and experience of operating at C level and building trusted relationships
  • Experience of working within a complex team environment across multiple time zones
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge of the telecom industry
  • Familiarity with Industry Standards such as 3GPP and ETSI
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Fluency in German is a plus
  • International Travel required.
