Job Description:

An excellent opportunity is available with our client in the insurance sector. We’re here to connect them with a Private Motor Claims Handler. In this role you will be responsible for efficiently managing and resolving motor insurance claims and providing clients with the support they need during stressful times. Acting as the main point of contact, you’ll handle investigations, communication, and negotiations to ensure timely and fair claims resolutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage motor claims, including accidents, uninsured loss recovery, third-party interventions, personal injury, theft, and property damage
  • Gather claim information from policyholders, third parties, emergency services, and witnesses
  • Investigate claims with a calm, empathetic approach, reviewing policy details for validity
  • Monitor external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Collaborate with specialists for complex claims and ensure efficient, fair resolutions
  • Keep clients and stakeholders regularly updated on claim progress

Requirements:

  • Skilled in liaising with clients, third parties, and suppliers, explaining claims processes clearly
  • Able to gather and assess information while managing multiple claims
  • Empathetic and professional in addressing customer needs
  • Proficient in problem-solving to resolve claims efficiently
  • Detail-oriented with strong IT skills, including claims management systems
  • Experience in handling motor insurance claims, including the investigation and resolution of accidents, losses, and damages
  • Ability to form positive relationships with clients, third parties, and suppliers
