Job Description:

Private Mortgage Banker position at Wells Fargo in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending, focused on producing high quality jumbo loans for affluent borrowers and building relationships with realtors, builders, and financial professionals.

Job Responsibility:

Solicit residential mortgages from various sources
Produce high quality jumbo loans
Build relationships with affluent borrowers and professionals
Develop market visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Present loan production recommendations
Understand real estate appraisals and transactions
Receive customer applications and quote rates
Review financial and credit data
Match customer needs with loan programs
Inform customers of mortgage programs and policies
Maintain high client satisfaction standards

Requirements:

2+ years of Private Mortgage Banking Sales experience or equivalent
SAFE registration required
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over past 12 months
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Mortgage industry experience
Knowledge of sales prospecting and generating referrals
Customer service experience
Experience working with high net-worth clients
Completion of formal position specific training programs
Reliable transportation
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
