Private Markets Relationship Manager, Aladdin Client Engagement, Vice President. BlackRock’s Aladdin Business supports the investment process through the development, deployment and support of our enterprise investment management platform (Aladdin®). The Aladdin Business provides strategic advisory and enterprise investment system services for our clients. Aladdin Client Engagement is part of the Aladdin Business focused on maximizing the value of the Aladdin product through engagement and education and working closely with clients to be their trusted consultant, problem solver, and business partner. This is a client facing role and you will be expected to build deep and highly effective partnerships with clients to understand and solve problems. We are seeking someone with experience in private markets, to bridge institutional client relationship management with expertise in client industry, financial markets, and the Aladdin ecosystem to maximize our value proposition and client outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own relationships with client’s senior management (CTO, CIO, COO, Heads of Desks) to understand their business objectives and needs and help them use Aladdin expertise to achieve firm goals
  • Understand the client’s business challenges and propose solutions leveraging Aladdin that drive value and adoption
  • Ensure client feedback on product is communicated to the Product Managers and is tracked through successful development and deployment
  • Partner with the client, as well as Aladdin Product Managers to support client’s development needs
  • Assist clients in leveraging Aladdin to its fullest across the entire trade and portfolio lifecycle
  • Keep updated on regulatory and operational industry trends to help your clients stay ahead of changing times
  • Support harvesting and onboarding additional client business by coordinating across product and sales teams
  • Ability to articulate the purpose and value of Aladdin technology applications
  • Engage with clients to define key strategic and tactical initiatives, leveraging your internal network to oversee and execute cross-functional project solutions
  • Lead internal stakeholder discussions to guide and align the development of our product by bringing the voice of the client to the table

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience in financial services or consulting OR graduate degree
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Finance is preferred
  • Strong interest in private markets, FinTech, and Financial Institutions (Banks and Insurance companies) and/or Asset Management
  • Familiarity with buy-side investment management or middle-office workflows is preferred
  • Working understanding of private equity, private credit, and their operational workflows
  • Outstanding communication and the ability to present complex concepts simply and clearly to varying audiences

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in sales, eFront, Aladdin, or other financial technology is a plus
  • CFA, FRM, CIMA, or CAIA certification
