Job Description:

As an intern in the Private Markets QDD - ACR Team, you will be part of a professional team focused on updating fund data and maintaining Albourne’s database with fund managers’ information to ensure Albourne and its clients have access to the latest and most accurate material on Private Markets funds.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review of fund documentation, checking information and making correct associations between documents and folders in database
  • Review of fund information, making sure the relevant fund details are accurately captured in the Company’s database
  • Assisting on various department projects, ongoing and ad-hoc

Requirements:

  • Graduates currently completing their final year of a Bachelor’s or Master's Program in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent subject area
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills with particular emphasis on detail
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Self-starter and take initiative
  • Problem solver, and eager to learn
  • Analytical
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (with advanced proficiency in Excel)
  • Comfortable working in a big team
  • able to communicate effectively and balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • The due diligence process includes the initial screening of investment managers

  • Coordinating diligence call schedules, drafting internal meeting notes, and ensuring the predefined research process is adhered to
  • Fund coverage includes initiating ‘new’ research and ratings on Private Credit offerings raising capital, as well as assisting with ongoing monitoring of funds to ensure accuracy of existing ratings and ratings, coverage of client portfolios, and comprehensive strategy coverage
  • To the extent possible, help build relationships between Albourne, the client and fund managers to assist with access to data/information, key decision makers, and fund allocations
  • Assist PM IDD Senior Analysts in the periodic production of strategy forecasts for Private Credit strategies
