Requirements

University graduate or equivalent with 0-3 years of experience in alternative fund investment due diligence, investment management, or related experience
Solid understanding of financial markets and terminology, with a preference for knowledge of private credit or credit markets more broadly
Possession of or progression towards relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot, with advanced skills in Excel

Job Responsibility

Assist in maintaining and expanding Albourne’s coverage of Private Credit fund offerings – the primary deliverable is a written research report based on qualitative and quantitative analysis
Participate in the due diligence process including initial screening of investment managers
participating in meetings with the managers
quantitative performance analysis
engaging in an open dialogue with both colleagues and fund managers
and participating in the fund rating process
Coordinate diligence call schedules, draft internal meeting notes, and ensure the predefined research process is adhered to
Initiate ‘new’ research and ratings on Private Credit offerings raising capital, as well as assisting with ongoing monitoring of funds
Help build relationships between Albourne, the client and fund managers to assist with access to data/information, key decision makers, and fund allocations
Assist PM IDD Senior Analysts in the periodic production of strategy forecasts for Private Credit strategies

Job Responsibility

Support daily cash forecasting and reconciliation processes, integrating internal and external portfolio activity with FM operational flows to produce actionable forecasts for senior management
Drive enhancements to the cash forecasting process through automation, improved data integration, and robust quality controls
Provide ongoing support for capital call and distribution activity across FM’s private investment portfolio, coordinating with external service providers to ensure timely execution of transaction activity
Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of new private investments within FM’s core systems and service providers
