A Private Market Data Analyst collaborates closely with the PM Investment Due Diligence (IDD) and Portfolio Reporting teams and is responsible for managing fund series data updates, coordinating with fund managers and ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of Albourne’s database. Core tasks include processing and generating PM Quantitative Due Diligence (QDD) and Open Protocol (OP) data, managing Albourne’s internally constructed indices —a suite of indices representing the aggregate performance of the private markets universe—and handling client inquiries on indices and manager-related requests. The role also involves utilizing Albourne’s manager portal, to streamline communication with fund managers and ensure Albourne and its clients have access to the latest and most accurate information on Private Markets funds.
Job Responsibility:
Establish fund manager relationships through effective communication
Data acquisition and processing (Cash flows/investment data/company metrics /newsletters)
Generate, review, and publish Private Markets Quantitative Due Diligence Report
Maintain and update Albourne’s database and internally constructed indices
Populate exposure data and maintain accurate client and internal databases
Collaboration with Investment Due Diligence strategy analysts
Prepare various data listings, reports, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
Visualize key data insights through dashboards or charts to support decision-making
Requirements:
Strong understanding of financial statements, ratios, and performance metrics for Private Markets
Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset
Adaptable to changing business needs and environments
A University Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent subject area
Fluent English & Computer literacy
