The Private Cloud AI Sales Specialist role involves selling technology solutions related to AI Platforms and Generative AI, driving customer conversations, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with both clients and partners. Specialists are expected to possess subject matter expertise in AI use cases and the technology stack, and play a key role in creating long-term sales strategies, leading pursuits, and maintaining executive-level relationships with clients.
Job Responsibility:
Leverages PTB data to target and prioritize opportunities
Conduct account and industry research to position PCAI
Drive initial AI customer conversation and validate PCAI opportunity
Position PCAI with all AI personas, including technical and C-level
Develop next steps and alternatives for opportunity follow up
Collaborate with Ecosystem partners (Channel, GSI, SDP)
Develop long-term sales pipeline
Create and grow reference customers
Establish consultative relationships with clients
Provide support to account managers
Sell complex products or solutions to customers
Grow contractual renewals for large accounts.
Requirements:
University or Bachelor's degree
Advanced University or MBA preferred
Directly related previous work experience
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface
Prior selling experience includes multiple, diverse set of selling responsibilities
Viewed as expert in given field by company and customer
Considered a mentor of selling strategy, including designing strategy
Typically 12+ years of related sales experience
Project management skills required
3-5 years' experience.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of marketing campaigns to align initiatives with account planning activities
Expertise in AI use cases, outcomes, and technology stack
Ability to position AI solutions with various personas (CEO, CTO, CDO, Engineers, etc.)
Knowledge of AI Platforms & Generative AI.
