Job title: Private Clients & Commercial Account Executive. Salary: £45,000. Location: London / 2 days remote working. Purpose of role: Successfully convert New business leads from initial client contact to close of sale. To design insurance programmes for the protection of the material assets and liabilities of clients and oversee their effective operation.To develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.Provision of high level professional advice to clients.To seek and secure new accounts and generate new business revenue.To identify cross selling and referral opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Successfully convert New business leads from initial client contact to close of sale
  • To design insurance programmes for the protection of the material assets and liabilities of clients and oversee their effective operation
  • To develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Provision of high level professional advice to clients
  • To seek and secure new accounts and generate new business revenue
  • To identify cross selling and referral opportunities
  • To take ownership of client accounts, resolving queries and problems in a timely and efficient manner to avoid credit control, bad debt and insurer reconciliation issues
  • Assist in achieving Group/Division client retention targets by providing an excellent level of service
  • Liaise effectively with the client to agree an appropriate strategy for renewal and/or new business
  • Obtain quotations or renewal terms and present to client
  • Produce and issue professional summaries and reports
  • Issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty
  • Ensure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover and in line with our clients’ procedures
  • Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately
  • Handle all queries, whether written, by telephone or face to face, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards
  • To be aware of, and to follow at all times, the firm’s policy on Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty
  • Record all relevant information, correspondence and documentation on Acturis and make effective use of the diary system
  • Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times using relevant inhouse templates
  • Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium
  • Refer all queries that fall outside own experience, knowledge and authority to senior staff

Requirements:

  • Previous HNW & Commercial experience
  • Cert CII qualified
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant policies including current market conditions
  • Ability to use all IT systems made available for the role and to maintain computer records in the prescribed manner
  • Excellent relationship skills
  • An understanding of Acturis
  • Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR & Consumer Duty
  • Working knowledge of the inhouse product range, policy wordings and service standards
