Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a key role in the firm’s thriving Private Client team, supporting a broad portfolio of clients including HNWIs, business owners, and trusts.

Job Responsibility:

Managing a portfolio of private clients and providing personal tax compliance services
Advising on a wide range of personal tax issues including CGT, IHT, trusts, and residency
Reviewing self-assessment tax returns prepared by junior staff
Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
Supporting the training and development of junior team members

Requirements:

CTA and/or ATT qualified (or qualified by experience)
Strong personal tax compliance knowledge, ideally with exposure to advisory work
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
