Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice in Belfast to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager / Senior Manager for their expanding Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to join a growing and forward-thinking firm that prides itself on delivering exceptional client service and expert tax advice. Working alongside a highly experienced and qualified tax team, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of private clients while contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing a portfolio of private clients and high-net-worth individuals
  • Overseeing personal tax compliance matters and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services tailored to clients' needs
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising on complex tax matters
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Collaborating with partners and colleagues across the wider business

Requirements

  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA
  • Strong personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
  • Excellent technical knowledge of private client taxation
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • A proactive and client-focused approach
  • Strong IT and organisational skills
