Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor at or approaching Partner level, based in Leeds, to play a key role within a prestigious and award-winning commercial law firm. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing and expanding the firm's private client practice in Leeds, leveraging the firm's strong infrastructure and client base. You will be expected to work within a collaborative and supportive environment, sharing work and clients across the firm's North of England locations, aligning with their 'one firm, one team' ethos. The role offers scope for you to target existing clients while also utilising your personal contacts to develop the private client practice further. You will contribute to tailoring and enhancing the firm's private client services, particularly catering to high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial clients. This position provides an ideal platform for a highly skilled solicitor to shape a private client team within a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Play a key role within a prestigious and award-winning commercial law firm

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Private Client Solicitor, ideally at or approaching Partner level
  • Strong technical knowledge of private client law, including Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning
  • Excellent business development skills and a proactive approach to client growth
  • Previous experience working with high net worth and entrepreneurial clients
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Ambition to shape and lead a private client practice in Leeds
