Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a diverse caseload, providing expert advice to clients across a broad spectrum of Private Client matters
  • Drafting Wills
  • Advising on Tax and Succession Planning
  • Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Creating and administering Trusts (in collaboration with our in-house Trust Manager)
  • Managing Estate Administration

Requirements:

  • Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, or Lawyers with proven experience in a Private Client setting, ideally with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Proficiency in advising clients on inheritance tax mitigation, estate and succession planning, and trust management
  • Experience in handling a varied and complex caseload, including the creation of trusts and the administration of complex, taxable estates
  • Exceptional attention to detail and drafting skills for Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, including mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and provide clear and empathetic advice
  • Active participation in the firm's business development initiatives, such as networking and marketing efforts
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the county as required
