Our client, a well-established and growing wealth management firm in the Albany area, is seeking a Private Client Associate to support a high-performing Financial Advisor. The Private Client Associate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day client service, account administration, and operational functions. This individual will act as a primary point of contact for clients while ensuring a seamless experience across all interactions.
Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative and operational support to a Financial Advisor
Serve as a primary liaison for client inquiries and requests
Open and maintain client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Process transactions, including transfers, distributions, and trades
Prepare client meeting materials and follow-up documentation
Maintain accurate client records and documentation
Coordinate with custodians and internal teams to resolve issues
Assist with client onboarding and relationship management
Requirements:
Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 highly preferred (or willingness to obtain)
2+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field
Strong understanding of investment products and account types
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and client service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
