Job Responsibility

  • Manage Meta’s cross-functional privacy review process for new consumer products and features
  • Develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented
  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers, engineers, and privacy stakeholders across the company
  • Conduct project management activities such as track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions
  • Implement privacy tools and technologies to facilitate and automate privacy-by-design process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a privacy specialist or solutions advisor-related occupation
  • 5 years of experience in the following skills: Consulting, business operations, or technical program management
  • Privacy & data protection, privacy program design, operational risk management, information security, compliance, and audit & implementation of control frameworks
  • US and international privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, FTC Consent Orders
  • Privacy-by-design, reviewing and mitigating privacy risks in new consumer products and features
  • Establishing and managing tools, guidelines, and documents for privacy compliance
  • Organizing, coordinating, multi-tasking, and process-improvement to enhance efficiency while meeting programmatic requirements
