Job Responsibility

Conducting assessments to identify the individual needs and challenges of inmates
Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans to address those needs, which may include mental health support, substance abuse counselling, vocational training, and re-entry planning
Providing individual and group counselling to inmates, offering emotional support and guidance
Collaborating with prison staff, parole officers, and community organisations to coordinate services and support for inmates both during and after incarceration
Advocating for the rights and dignity of incarcerated individuals, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and opportunities for rehabilitation
Documenting and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and progress
