We are seeking a Print Production Manager to serve as the vital link between creative vision and physical reality. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our internal cross-functional teams, third-party prepress suppliers, and printers to ensure that design intent is executed flawlessly across the entire commercialization process. Your mission is to maintain our global brand equity by providing the precise tools and input each region needs to succeed. As a champion of design integrity, you will be responsible for translating the brand vision into high-quality printed components. From assisting with standard color settings to providing approved ranges for final production, you will collaborate closely with design and prepress agencies to develop comprehensive production guides. You aren’t just overseeing a hand-off; you are a key consultant through every stage of the project, ensuring our vendors have exactly what they need to deliver perfection.
Job Responsibility:
Work with global printers & packaging sites to obtain specifications
Provide Brand Design team with relevant printer/site requirements to create a feasible design intent
Interface with Brand Design team to communicate concerns with the design intent in relation to the printer's capabilities / review for feasibility
Partner with Packaging Engineering to understand structures & die lines - provide required information
Attend Design Brief and Design Concept Reviews as needed
Evaluate and determine the best way to validate the graphic files (via proofing or trials etc.) and determine the best way to communicate the color targets using the Brand Color Specification
Plan and execute Print trials, when required
Determine spectral value for specified colors
Host and document pre-production meeting between third-party prepress supplier and printer
Review & approve production proofs
review with Brand Design team as needed
Attend print trials to optimize design intents & production printing
as needed
Travel to printer's location to supervise print trials and/or first production printing as needed
Obtain, approve & distribute color standards
internally & externally
Create Brand Color Specifications and Color target documentation that include relevant spectral data for production printing
Utilize internal systems to track project workload, scope & time spent completing production tasks within required timeframes
Complete all Kenvue Trainings on time per schedule
Track and submit required metrics, project lists and/or projects scope
Ensure continuous improvement & optimal production solutions for new artwork designs & existing components
Maintain filing system of all production elements related to each brand
Provide required documentation and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years experience in publishing, print or project management, preferably in a Consumer Healthcare or Pharmaceutical environment
Deep Knowledge of all printing & prepress processes
Understand and have ability to resolve complex production problems in a timely and fast paced environment
Demonstrated leadership in PrePress, Print or Project Management environment
Ability to multi-task while working on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
Commitment to continuous process improvement initiatives and ability to solve problems creatively
Highly motivated and high level of initiative
inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives
Ability to build relationships and work across a multi-product line organization
Strong computer skills in MAC platform a must (Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat Professional, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
